Parents - Please join us!

Many hands make light work! Please consider joining the fun in the following ways:

  • Workshop/Camp Food - Coordinate meals and snacks for summer choreography camps and fall workshops
  • Parents Crew (formally Dads crew) - Light construction projects or helping out with moving equipment at competitions and performances.
  • Costumes - From light alterations (hemming and tacking straps) to major zipper moves. We also have laundry needs during the season - after performances we need volunteers to take costumes home, launder them, and return them to school on the following Monday so we are able to pack up and get things ready for the next performance.
  • Hair and Makeup - This committee helps with hair and makeup before performances. It's a fun(?) opportunity to spend time with the kids before a competition.
  • Winter/Spring Show committee - If you are interested in helping with the receptions, ticket sales and publicity for the show fundraisers, this is the spot for you.
  • Fundraising - If you are a gifted sweet-talker, we could really use your help to rebuild the show choir fund. Money is used to purchase costumes, pay entry fees, provide transportation, and pay our amazing choreographer. We have an exciting opportunity to celebrate 40 Years of 4th Ave. this year, and would like to reach out to alums and families of the program for their support.
  • Shutterfly - Maintain the City High Show Choir Shutterfly account with images from performances.
